FREEZING COLD!!!!!!!!

If you stay in Josie's hospital room you better wrap up in extra clothes and blankets!!! Here is a picture of Josie's aunt Heidi trying to stay warm in the room. Josie likes it extra COLD and she is freezing everyone in here to death. She still sweats with it this cold. It was 10 degrees outside all day here in St. Louis but I think it's colder than that in here!!!LOL!!! Not only is the thermostat turned way down, this fan pictured here is also on and blowing on Josie. When you go to sleep in here 2 blankets will not be enough..LOL!! Josie slept most all day, but she did wake up about 10 PM. She ate just a little, but everyone in the room got a big hug from her with an I LOVE YOU to follow!!!! That was awesome. We hope tomorrow will be a better day!!!!

  3. BBBBRRRRR!!! What a good description of the artic-cold room! The pictures of Aunt Heidi and the fan help us to understand. Thank you for keeping us all updated on the blog. I know you must be exhausted by the time you sit down and shiver:) through the info you're giving us. What a strong momma you are! My hope and prayer is that ya'll feel and are strenghtened by ALL of the prayers to God for ya'll. This scripture came to me for ya'll, " For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;" Colossians 1:9 Keeping ya'll in our prayers.....

  4. The dictionary defines courage as, "The quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear."
It defines perseverance as "the continuance in a course of action without regard to difficulty, obstacles, or prior failure".

No doubt Josie holds both of these characteristics, but further, the family and friends of Josie show extreme amounts of these characteristics. I can only say how courageous you all are. Far beyond any amount many people would be. . .God bless you all. Because of your (and certainly Josie's) courage, YOU WILL PERSEVERE. Your family has helped and inspired me more than you will ever know, and you don't even know me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I pray for you every day.

"Be not afraid, for I go before you always. Come follow me, and I will give you rest"

  7. old hymn keeps coming to mind... "day by day, and with each passing moment; strength I find to meet my trials here. trusting in my Father's wise bestowment; I've no cause for worry or for fear. He whose heart is kind beyond all measure, gives unto each day what He deems best. Lovingly, it's part of pain and pleasure; mingling toil with peace and rest."... praying for y'all. day by day.
