Please, Please, Please Continue to Pray
We thought we were going home, but it looks like just the opposite. We were told this morning by Josie's doctor that Josie is now in her final hours. Who knows, she has pulled thru it before, but this time her c02 level is over 150.(not good) We are just trying to keep her compfy and relaxed. We know so many people have been praying for Josie and keeping up with this blog, and we hope many people turned their life over to God thru this and trusted in him thru Josie's inspirational journey. We will not always know what God's plan is, but we must realize it is definately a perfect plan no matter how much it hurts. We know that the Lord is in control of all things, but we still wonder "why Josie?", "why does this happen to people, especially children?"................I guess we must understand that if our life is cut short in this cruel, painful world; we are really getting a favor. The quicker we can go on and be with the Lord, and cut out all the pain, heartaches, and disappointments in this world the better. We would like to again thank everyone for all you have done for Josie and our family during this time. Nothing has gone unnoticed. So many people helped with Jordan, our dogs, sent food, sent cards, and all kind of stuff. Thank you so much. I hope God blesses you for what you have done. The Gray's

ReplyDeleteYou are in our thoughts and prayers. The Galeys/Milan, TN
ReplyDeleteWhy are you striving these days
ReplyDeleteWhy are you trying to earn grace
Why are you crying
Let me lift up your face
Just don't turn away
Why are you looking for love
Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough
To where will you go child
Tell me where will you run
To where will you run
And I'll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don't fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you
Look at these hands and my side
They swallowed the grave on that night
When I drank the world's sin
So I could carry you in
And give you life
I want to give you life
And I'll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don't fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you
Cause I, I love you
I want you to know
That I, I love you
I'll never let you go
And I'll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don't fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you
i'm praying for you
ReplyDeleteHey Heather and Chris. This is Mr. Tim. We have all been praying and thinking of Josie and your family the whole time you guys have been in St. Louis. Josie will never know the positive impact she had on myself, Mrs. Lisa, and her classmates as a 5th grader at Brighton Elementary. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time, but I thank Our Lord that he put me in a position to be a part of Josie's life.

You are on Holy Ground. May God's peace surround you and my His face shine upon all of you. When Josie sees Heaven's gates she will truly be amazed. I will never forget Mandy's face when she looked up with such awe and her face was so peaceful and her final words were "That's it!" I'll never forget the look on her face. Whatever she saw I cannot wait to see. Two weeks before Amanda went to Heaven, our Chilcdren's Church was studying about Stephen. The kids asked so many questions like "why didn't he run?" The Holy Spirit told me to tell them that he had seen Heaven and wasn't afraid. The following Sunday, we talked about Heaven and the kids were filled with more great questions. The next Sunday Amanda was in Heaven. There are no accidents, just God's perfect timing. What a beautiful gift God gave us. You know Mandy prayed for Josie. She loved Haley and Josie. She will be there to meet her whenever. How very dear to our heart yall are. We are lifting up prayers. Just please know and feel that in your heart. She will be so safe and loved!

Josie has made a big impact on alot of peoples lifes while she has been in all of our lifes. And we need to make sure that her impact on us can impact others if she passes on. This is not a time to think about her being sick. This is a time to think about all those good times that we had with her, and all the times that we laughed with her. She would want us to think about those times and not think about thae times that she was sick. So close your eyes and think about the times that you laughed with her and think about the good times that you have had with her.

As I struggle with what to pray for I realize that all I need to do is to ask God for His will. In times of hurt and times of pain His plan is always perfect. So, with a broken heart for all of you I pray His will and for peace that surpasses our earthly understanding. I love you all and I will lift you all up in prayer every moment that I can.
