Josie had lots of friends from back home come visit her today! She had her best day yet. We hope she will continue to get better and better. Please keep posting comments because we read them everyday. It is so nice to know that this blog has touched so many people. I hope that everyones faith has gotten stronger because of this blog. I read about so many people praying and praying. I also hope that Josie's blog will inspire everyone to walk closer with our Lord! This blog was originally created to update everyone on Josie's progress here in St. Louis. but I think it now serves a bigger purpose. It is to let people know that we have a merciful and loving God. He has watched over our family each and everyday. Our faith has definately increased also. God bless you all!!!!!!!!

Hello Josie and family,
ReplyDeleteYes, God is good all the time and we praise HIM for your improvement. I am thankful we serve a God who is still in the business of miracles and I understand this week has truly qualified! This life and this family has touched the hearts of so many that you don't even know. The gang at JTS/ATM were discussing this fact Friday, and how we're forwarding Ken's texts to each other, and to other friends, who are now following the blog. So yes, you are correct in the fact that what was intended to keep us posted has turned into a ministry and a prompting of the heart to humble ourselves and pray.
As so many are, my family and I, and the guys at JTS/ATM are keeping you all in our prayers and thoughts.
Walk by faith, not by sight. II Cor. 5:7
God is good all the time! Josie has some wonderful friends rooting for her each & every day. We are continuing to pray for Josie & your family. Thank you for sharing God's word & works. Thank you for keeping us up to date.

We had a wonderful visit with you on Saturday. When our families are together, there are always laughs and jokes to be shared (mostly the jokes are at our own families' expense...especially Bill and Kenneth)!! Thank you for sharing time with us. Please know that we are here if there is anything you need, anytime of day!!

My name is Ashton Rodriguez. You don't know me but you do know a friend of mine...his name is Sid. He works for a company called Lincare and is a rep at the doctors office i work at out in Millington. Josie and my husband have something in common...they both have CF. My husband is 23...soon to be 24 in August. And when Sid told me about you....I felt compelled to talk with you. My husband and I read your blogs daily and we, along with our church (Life Church of Cordova) have been praying for you. I don't think that there is another disease that challenges the body the way that CF does and watching someone go through the bad times is the hardest thing I have ever endured. Many may not understand how CF works and can not relate to what you're going through but my husband and I can. If there is anything that you need....anything at all please don't hesitate to conatct me at ashvrodr@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteOur prayers are with you Josie and your family!!! Be strong!!
xoxo,
Ashton
