65 ROSES

This is a picture of the flowers that was on Josie's casket. It is 65 roses. For those who may not know 65 roses represents Cystic Fibrosis. Many kids cannot say cystic fibrosis and it sounds like 65 roses when they try to say it. We thought it was appropriate to place 65 roses with Josie. You can visit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on line for more information. Please pray for a cure for this terrible disease.

  1. This is Odell's mom. We just wanted to express our sympathy for you all during this time. The roses are beautiful and being a CF mom I get the meaning. We will continue to pray for your family. God be with you and bless you all.

  2. It was a wonderful service. Our youngest daughter, Rachel (who didn't even know Josie), is asking how we get to see Josie again, when does she get to play with her? Thank you for raising such a sweet and loving child that touches lives that don't even know her personally. I love you.

  5. When our little boy was small doctors suspected that he might have cystic fibrosis. It turned out that he didn't, I thanked God and went on with my life and didn't think much more about it. Since hearing about Josie I feel like God has laid it on my heart to give to cystic fibrosis research any chance I get. I did not know this sweet girl but she has impacted my life and I know she has been an encouragement to so many others.

  7. Our name is Lonnie and Kim Glass. Even though we don't know your family well, Lonnie and I have been reading Josie's blog and looking at her pictures daily. We want you to know what a ministry your blog has been to our family. We have also been blessed with beautiful girls like yours. Lonnie and I have prayed for Josie out loud and during that our small girls hear her name not knowing who she is but always saying Josie name in there prayers. Jesus is amazing. Even the smallest of children Jesus lays names on their hearts. We have been able to teach our girls about Jesus through your trials. Jesus has been glorified through your lives. Your family is in our prayers.

  10. You know I was so upset when I heard that Josie had passed. Not because she had passed but because I knew that this was a huge loss to you all. And then I went to the visitation and I as taken aback to see how you guys were doing. And then Saturday to see you all and see your strenght and your hope. You have no idea what that did for me and I am sure for so many. Heather I cant put it into words except to say you amaze me and to watch our Lord and Saviour work through you was amazing. I am thankful that we serve a mighty God. Sweet bubbly josie was such a blessing to so many but even more than that she was a blessing to our and her Lord. What a great warrior for Christ. She truely walked by faith and not by sight. Remember that no matter what GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!!!! I love you all!
